Sitting in Wheelchair
* Extend right leg and back 15x. Repeat with left leg.
* Lift up right knee and back down 15x. Repeat with left knee.
* Both feet - heel/toe up and down 15x.
* Put both feet close to each other. Lift right knee, then point knee out to the right side. Bring back to center and lower foot to the floor 15x. Repeat with left knee.

Standing up
* In the hallway practice standing up using the handrail. Straighten legs, back, stand tall for 30 seconds. Sit back down slowly! Rest if needed. Do this 4x. Practice this twice a day.

Seated in Wheelchair
* Practice pulling wheelchair forward with heels only. Go short distances.

Sitting on the toilet
* Have someone with you for now.
* Use the handrail to stand
* Then use the walker to back up and to turn around
* For sitting, put right hand on handrail, then reach back with the left hand and grab the chair arm rest.
* Sit slowly
Getting off the toilet — do everything in reverse.
